"We'd been looking for a nice modern stainless steel water bottle for ages and chose Klean Kanteen a number of years ago. Unlike plastic bottles, there is no funky plastic taste, the tops are non-leaching, and they will last a lifetime with care. Replacement tops are also available.
 
The 27oz bottles are about 1-2mm narrower that many plastic bottles, so you might want to bend your bottle cage in just a touch for a perfect fit. The height for the 27oz is 11"."
